This is a tool that will help you make barcode labels.
ISMN barcode generator 2 creates barcode labels following the ISMN code standard. ISMN is a standards effort to have uniform bar coding applied to printed music publications worldwide, such as a score, an element in a multimedia kit, etc. available for sale, hire or free. Older version had 10 digits and has been upgraded to a 13 digit code now. The ISMN barcode starts with 979-0- (old format was 979-M-) and then 3 digits for publisher identifier, 5 digits for item identifier and last 1 checksum (check digit). The tool will be able to generate a barcode automatically once the publisher Identifier and the item identifier have been specified. The resulting barcode is an image in one of several formats. These include a high resolution bitmap image (*.bmp, *.jpg, *.png, *.tif) or as a vector barcode in Encapsulated PostScript (*.eps) or Enhanced MetaFile (*.emf). Barcode can also be saved as a PDF file.
The tool will set the size of the label as per the GS1 recommended sizes (80% to 200%) for the ISMN. That takes away the guesswork out when printing or saving the image. The interface is well laid out, making it easy to use; even a complete beginner should be able to start using it quickly. Access from the tool bar lets you set the recommended size, font, color from the toolbar. You could start with one of more than 330 printing templates/ label sheets available. The ISMN barcode displays ISMN barcode information above the barcode. The barcode could be rotated, an image used as a background and have the label sizes defined by the user. This is a very good product and is a good option when you have a need for a tool like this. Go ahead and try it out in your exact work settings.
